One Year Older

Yesterday was my oldest daughter's 14th birthday! I love her so much, she is so very intellegent (did not get it from me!) She's beautiful, funny and kind. It's hard to believe that before you are a parent that it is possible to love someone so strongly. This girl took my heart from the time she was concieved, even before she was born I began to love her. I was so excited about her coming into my life and am thankful that God chose her for me!!

Jacqueline, we've had so much fun laughing and learning together! Here's to many, many more years of joy!

Horses are so much fun!

Kenya and her cousin got to do a little horse back riding this last weekend with their Uncle and Auntie. This happens every once in a while and is most definitely one highlight of their summer. Kenya absolutely loves horses, so did I when I was a kid, so maybe she is a little more like me than we thought!
