About Me

My photo
I am a mother of one tween and two teens and the wife of a man who I love. I am the follower of a Lord and Savior that is living, real and my everything. I love to spend time with friends, even though I don't do it very often, I love my job and I love going to my kids sports events. I golf with my husband, even though I don't do it well, he is always very patient with me. My life is good, not perfect, but good. I am happy.

SNOW DAY!!!

This is the day kids live for. SNOW DAY!! My son is celebrating the fact that he can be a bum all day today and lay around in his underwear. He was kind enough to wake up his sisters at 7:30 a.m. just to tell them they don't have to wake up because school has been cancelled. I on the other hand have to go shower and get ready for work (I don't mind because I love my job and it's right here in town so I don't have to travel far) , so I think I will give them a few chores to do while I am away...maybe, just maybe they'll actually get done too. Only time will tell!

when WE were in school they barely EVER cancelled school. do you remember that? the wind would be howling, the snow drifts would be over 8 feet tall ;) and we would be trudging through the ice to make it to school!

it was nice to see you today bonnie. you're a blessing. did you know that?

Ruth...
No kidding, even in Churchill they were supposed to cancel school with a windchill of -60 or colder and most of the winter it was -65 so I suppose if they did that there would never be school!

I always fall into a brief celebration, and then remember that if my children will stay at home, the very home that runs a home daycare....
well, maybe there is not so much to celebrate after all...
